International Programs
Empowering Girls, Across the Globe

At AliceCode, we believe that leadership, creativity, and tech literacy shouldn’t be limited by geography. What began as a local non-profit in Israel has grown over the past nine years into a vibrant community with over 10,000 young creators who code, create, and grow together. We help girls build real skills, develop confidence, and stay curious about the world around them - while successfully stepping into STEM pathways and closing the gender gap.

We’re excited to take our experience from the Startup Nation and bring it to Jewish communities around the world via online programs led by our Israeli team. Through technology, we connect girls with international Jewish women’s communities, building strong bonds that cross borders.

One of our major focuses is also to prepare girls for the future in the field of technology innovations. Did you know that on average women are 10–40% less likely to adopt AI tools than men, with the best estimate showing a 25% gender gap in usage? That’s why we’ve woven AI into every program, making tech education more engaging and relevant for girls who aren’t specifically drawn to programming.

What Makes AliceCode Different - and Globally Relevant
Starting Early – Age 9 and Up

Our programs are designed for girls starting from age 9, a critical stage when identity, confidence, and curiosity begin to take shape.

We believe these years are the perfect time to introduce real tools, creative challenges, and leadership experiences that stick for life.

Growing Together – Mentorship & Community

AliceCode is more than a coding course – it's a community. Led by our Israeli team, we bring the spirit of the Startup Nation to every online session, combining innovation with purpose.

Our instructors are engineers, designers, founders, and innovators who serve as mentors and real role models.

Along the way, girls build lasting friendships, develop leadership skills, and become part of a global Jewish community and alumni network that supports and inspires them long after the program ends.
Connecting to the Real World – Tech, Academia, and Industry

We bridge classroom learning with real-life experiences. From partnerships with international educational organizations like Raspberry Pi to visits at tech companies and academic institutions, our students see how their skills apply in the world around them.

Every course ends with a final project, presented on stage to a live audience - because in our world, public speaking and leadership go hand in hand.

"They started to look at things from a different angle... saying things like ‘that was coded that way.’ Recognizing the code behind things they see on TV or in apps has even helped with their math skills. It’s a win-win"

"AliceCode is all about confidence and strength - the confidence to create, lead, collaborate, and dream. It’s a place where you can learn, be yourself, make lifelong friends, and find great opportunities. A place to fulfill yourself"

Alice Ochakovsky

(AliceCode graduate and Canadian group instructor)

In Canada, women make up less than 25% of people employed in STEM careers, despite constituting about 47% of the total workforce.

Female high school graduates are 29.8% less likely than males to choose postsecondary STEM education, and 36.4% less likely to pursue a STEM bachelor’s degree specifically.

To make sure future generations of women have a place in these fields, we need to spark girls’ interest and keep them involved from a young age - starting in elementary and high school.

In 2025, we launched our first international educational group in Canada. Girls from across the country came together for a unique educational experience that blended coding, design thinking, entrepreneurship, and soft-skills development: in a supportive, high-energy environment.

In the US, women hold only 34% of jobs in science and engineering, even though they make up half of all college-educated workers.
